Description
"You gotta hand it to those dolphins. They just wanted it more.""I kinda wish I hadn't freed their leader and, y'know, doomed mankind."
"Oh, honey, I wouldn't say 'doomed'. It's gonna be an adjustment, no question..."
Having recently purchased "The Simpsons: The Complete Twelfth Season" on DVD, I couldn't help being inspired by the end of "Treehouse of Horror XI". King Snorky has spoken!

"Snorky...talk...man... *clears throat* Hmmm! I'm sorry, let me start over."
Great tribute to that episode, Jesse- that was a weird, but very funny THOH segment. I loved the other THOH segments "The Raven," "If I Only Had a Brain," "The Devil & Homer Simpson," "Bart Simpson's Dracula," "Time & Punishment," "Homer3," "Easy-Bake Coven," "Desperately Xeeking Xena," and "The Island of Dr. Hibbert" as well.
I am so stoked for the upcoming season this Sunday- the first episode will be the one written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Seeing this is also making me stoked for Halloween

Homer's expression is awesome!
Ironically, the title is how I feel about the show as it is now....

As long as Al Jean's showrunner, that's how I feel too.

Technically, it was a Halloween episode, even though it aired on November 1, 2000. FOX's World Series coverage pushed back the season premieres of "The Simpsons" to early November for a couple of years, and so they always had to open the season with an overdue Treehouse of Horror episode. (It's gone back to normal now, though.)

Despite the fact that it's not funny anymore, imo.

I don't see what Homer looks so annoyed about - I mean, didn't he get his fantasy wish from "Homer Badman"...? (think about it)
As always, Lisa and Marge look supoib here

But under the sea there will be no more frustrations, just friendly crustaceans! And all the seahorses you can eat.
