Here have some Kit exuding Masculinity for a change. I like how this photo turned out. I had him in the pool and he was soaked so I leaned him up against a wood fence for one more dripping wet photo. Lol it was from the next top model shoot. I love this photo and would use it, but sadly I cannot because its not really promoting a summer activity, its just Kit AFTER swimming. But I loved it so much I figured I can still put it on my DA~! Enjoy! <3-----

Nope! I refused to do that. Not that I have anything against modded female bodies mind you! I just feel like no matter how much you mod them, they are still a girl and I am left feeling unsatisphied. Kit is on a Popodoll 68cm MALE body. However Kit is intended to be more feminine and lean, but I still wanted him to look like a boy rather than a flat chested girl when his clothing was off (and on) so I modded the Abs, I sanded them down until they were MUCH less prominent and then I sanded in the waist to give it a little more of a girlish figure. ^^

Well girl resently I got totally soomed so Harper and Phoenix got put on the back burner. People kept coming to me with heads that you don't find super easy on my WTB and I couldn't resist Dx. I bought a tan soom Dia, a soom beryl head, a soom Saiph head, I have a soom Amber head on layaway, the soom white rabbit smirking head on layaway in a split, I got soomed hardcore Dx. So my Tan Dia is off getting a face up, my chrom just got his face up, and I'm still debating what to do with the Beryl face up wise. I ordered a body for Mh Saiph so he's all done I'm just waiting for it to get here. I'm super excited XD

hahaha omg! That's so wonderful and funny at the same time! Wow you got Soomed bad ;D But I can't believe you got an Amber! She is such a pretty sculpt and so hard to find, plus, if you find you have too many heads it'll probably be really easy to sell any of them so i say no worries(: Will Harper's character fit any of the sculpts you just bought?

Yeah I put up a wanting to buy for the amber head, not really thinking I would find one for a reasonable price- most get sold for like 450 for just the head. But someone poped up with a reasonable price and of course I jumped on it- and this was right after a paid off the soom beryl head, and then at the same time someone popped up to sell me the Saiph head! It all happened so fast! So I put them both on layaway Dx. I have one more payment on the Amber head and the amber head has the original face up but I'll be sending it off to get a more intence face up. All my Sooms already have characters XD
Vasiel- My Saiph got a face up from insomnia doll and I am IN LOVE with him- his body is actually on the way.
Phoenix- My Chrom got a face up from Dybbuk and it looks awesome- I'm saving up for his body.
Kit- My Dia, he was finished last December you know that xD
???- my Tan soom Dia will have his face up finished soon Hes getting one in Japan, he has a character but no name yet.
Isaac- my Beryl has no face up, I still need to pick kinda what I want.
???- my Amber has no name, I need to find the perfect face up arrest for him too.

Vasiel- ooohh I love that name, I think I follow that artist on Flickr, she has really nice "normal" face-ups! Normal as in not fantasy or anything with like leaves on their faces or something XD Saiph is not a mold I'm super familiar with so to me it sounds like your boy will be pretty unique! What sort of body did you get him?
Phoenix -nomnomnom Chrom<3 I had a Chrom for a short time and sometimes I miss him but I don't regret selling him becasue I need to get my act together BJD-wise XD I can't wait to see your with his wig, his face-up is so niiiiceee<33

I agree, the type of face up and the personality of the doll effects what artist you pick. I've never heard of Andreja, I'll have to look them up. I've never tried to paint a doll and dont really have the supplys to do so, so I just send them all over the globe lol. My dolls have been to Japan, the netherlands, Spain, and my hatter will be sent to india I believe lol.Β
Yeah the one who did Vasiel's face up is the creator and artist of Little Rebel bjd. Shes SUPER nice and Super talented, I really recommend her! I got Vasiel's body from F-Doll. I wanted him to be small and the soom saiph head is smaller than the other soom heads by a pretty good percentage so it needed to go on a smaller body.Β
Lol I'm still working on Phoenix's hair, I'm not sure how I want it so it might be awhile xD
No! The Tan dia was actually just a two week thing! Someone started a petition for soom to release Dia in tan and the girl got enough signatures that they agreed to release him for like 2 weeks in that skin tone. If I were to make a guess of how many people have a tan dia I would say it would be between 15 and 20. Not a lot of people jumped on it and you dont see it around. I know there were 10 people in the soom waiting room waiting for one, So at least double that for the people not in the waiting room, not a lot of people got him lol.Β
Isaac is still tricky. I'm teedering on weather or not to pick a different mold because my idea of him has changed in my eyes sense origionally getting the beryl sculpt. Lol no I've never seen teen wolf xD
Amber is kinda up in the air right now. I wasnt really ready to get it, but someone came to me with a price I couldnt turn down. So Amber will be kinda on the back burner until I get the rest of my dolls squared away.Β
I'm super excited for Fane. Fane wil create a couple within my doll collection- all my doll's boyfriends are owned by my friends who basically put claim on them and I did the same for their boys that I liked xD
Harper will be fun, hes in the works right now and I plan to put him on layaway by the end of this month but shhhh thats a secret!
I also have one more, Gemini and hes going to be a migidoll cho, hes in the works as we speak but my friend doesnt know that, I'm keeping it a surprise so one day I can just whip him out and be like BAM. XDΒ
Lol I TRY really hard to keep organized but in the dolly world you know, things pop up and good deals happen so your plans sometimes tamper off and its really difficult to keep a step by step plan!Β

Awww who is Fane with? And that's really exciting, the only relationship any of my dolls have is that Jaegar is brothers with NailedAliens' Dia, Jessie<3 It's mostly my fault, I never have any finished dolls and I'm always so busy that sometimes it's hard to keep up with people over the internet)):

XD Cho is another of my favorite Migidoll sculpts(: Jina being the only other I like better...I almost had a nightmare moment where I thought the character I wanted to create would be better suited to a Cho but then I decided to keep with the bigger Soom boys. I HATE that Super Gems are randomly 65cm isntead of 60cm...part of the reason I sold my last 60cm boy (my Ryu) was because I couldn't stand having two boy dolls that couldn't share clothes 
Ohh god I know! I am the worst impulse buyer! I have spent the past few months selling off heads and dolls that I bought on a whim because they were rare or cheap XD Honestly, I'm sorta starting over in the hobby. Not only did I impulse buy and get too many dolls, but my interests in characters has changed a lot too!

Yes I was very happy because I wanted a tan dia and was about to just get a sard and mod the ears but then it popped up! He was intended to be harper at the start but then I got him and I didnt see harper in him, so Harper became a jina, one of the many boys on my list.Β

I got the Amber in white skin but they made her in all 3 skin tones. They made her in Tan, White, And Normal. Yes she/he has the long ears that for some reason I am gaga over when I normally do NOT like elf ears and thought I would never have an elf like doll. Well... Technecally they are doe ears, maybe thats why I like them xD I just finished paying her off three days ago so hopefully she will ship the head soon ^^

No i totally know what you mean, Its hard to have dolls that are intertwined with other peoples especially when you dont know that person in person. All my dolls BF's are the BF's of other people's dolls that I know in person. Mostly my friends Syu and Cammie.Β

Yeah I know what you mean. It was a pain in the ass when I found out my character would be better suited for a Jina rather than a tan dia, but if I ever sell my tan dia I will get all my money back and then some so I was not worried about it. I like to have a few doll projects going though I wish I would just do one at a time.Β
Lol yeah its a pain in the butt that the soom bodies wont match up with others. I dont mind it because I like my dolls to be different hights, I think it kinda adds to their realisim. A lot of my dolls cant share clothing anyway because there are a lot of clothes that just wouldnt suit the same boy.Β
I love Jaegar so much, I've always loved him! Dx He should have all his own clothing anyway! He should have the world! No sharing for him!! DX

I happened to be scoping out the marketplace the other day and I noticed a lot of limited dolls on the market that you don't often see, including Amber and Breccia O.o I wonder why! They were by no means cheap though XD
Unfortunately I don't know any one in real life who collects BJDs ): It would be really awesome to find a meetup or something but I guess in a way I also don't know what I'm missing so it doesn't particularly bother me or detract from the hobby(: I do love talking to a few people on dA though!
Personally I would like to slow down and work on fewer doll simultaneously XD that way I don't have a million incomplete dolls, that's why I've been selling them, but I can totally see how it would be boring if you did not have at least one of two works in progress to keep busy with(: B

Yeah I like him but I dont really adore him yet. We'll see if I bond with him. He's a dia after all, and I love dia's but... I dont know when I look at him I just think, "... I already have one of you and hes my fav..." but I'll give it time! He probably will sit in his box for a while until I figure out what to do with him! Maybe make him blond... Idk yet. Oh my beryl already sold! It was on the market for 2 days, I shipped it out this morning! XD I made an offer on a stella boy for isaac but I dunno if the one selling it is interested- if not then I'll start working on harper. Harper will be easier. AND if the one selling the stella does not want to take my offer- its okay! I will just get started on harper. I am very clear on what I want to do with him so he would be MUCH easier to start and be a pretty quick project to finish.Β
Ya know I feel like soom dolls REALLY go in cycles! Like you wont see any- and then BOOOOM!! Everyone is selling the same soom sculpt at the same time. Thats how it was when I bought Kit. There were no Dia heads- I bought mine and then BAM a flipping LOT went on sale and a tone of people wanted to buy them! Same with Chrom, there were like none when I put up my WTB. They super go in cycles. There was a pretty good handful of ambers for sale a few months ago and then there was none. I put up a WTB and now theres a few on the market. Its like they come and go in the market in waves.Β
Yeah I know what you mean! I have a few friends who collect and I hang with them and they are some of my best friends, but I dont really go to meet ups as often anymore because of just an EXPLOSION of drama, but it seems to have calmed now and the group is rebuilding. I'd look for one near you on FB- they're fun. You get to interact with other people and their dolls and ya know they're nice~! I'm getting back into going now that the drama has been removed from the group in question and started their own group. So Its all good now! I love talking to people online! Its fun! I need to do more doll google hang outs and stuff!Β
I totally agree! I need to stop getting so many dolls at once and really buckle down on like one or two projects at a time because I can slowly feel myself getting overwhelmed! Its just- well good deals pop up! I had a few WTB's up because I knew it would take a while to find someone who would sell what I needed to me- and then one day BOOYAKASHA! They all PM me at once and I'm like... Well F... So now I have like a tone of incompletes and only 2 completes (Soon to be 3). I really need to focus but it depends on what has me inspired at the time! Like right now I'm really inspired by Harper. But I took to heart what you said about how you were you know, selling dolls to focus on the core and get back to your projects and down sizing and thats what helped me chose to sell my beryl. I need to focus after I finish my layaway on the white rabbit and work on Harper and the dolls that I DO have that are not complete yet. Like my Amber I took up on because it was such a good deal! Β But like i said- I dont have a lot of ideas for it yet and I'm gonna explode! DX

Congrats on selling your Beryl! I'm assuming the Stella boy is Shikitii's? He's pretty expensive but I know it's hard to hybrid Iplehouse dolls becasue it's so hard to get a hold of just their heads. In this case, if you really want a Stella boy I would say jump at the opportunity because you probably won't see one again...of course, you could always hybrid one yourself(: It might take a while but you could do it. The other thing is , though, you sound REALLY excited over Harper...I would say pick the character you most want to have in doll form and work on him! That's what pushed me to sell dolls, I had all these WIPs but the dolls I really wanted kept getting pushed aside because I lept impulse buying XD I KNOW how it feels to be presented by a good buy<3 BUT I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing either, you have a lot of dolls your working on but you got some really great sculpts!(: I have a Breccia head floating around that I don't know what to do with, sometimes I want to sell her but I know I probably won't get her back ever so I'm happy that I have her even if it will take awhile to finish her.
I think the Soom cycle is true for all sculpts, things get really popular and everyone has one, you can't find any on the market, and then suddenly that's all there is on the market XD You just gotta wait for the right time to buy
Eeeeeeeeee part of the reason I keep to myself a bit is to avoid the drama in this hobby): I really just don't want to be involved in that! But there are a few people online who seem really nice that I will leave comments for and such(: I'm actually going to see if there are enough doll collectors attending NY ComicCon this year that they might want to organize a meet! Either way I'm thinking about bringing one of my dolls...at the same time I just sorta worry about bringing them places D: I don't want anything to happen!
Amber is such a popular sculpt, keep as long as you want because you KNOW whenever you sell her you will definitely be able to<3 For some reason I always feel like there is this big rush in the hobby where I need to decide what I'm doing with my dolls RIGHT AWAY!!! But it's all in my head XD You can hold onto a doll as long as you want and decide(: I guess it might be because they are so expensive....I feel bad having dolls sit around that costs hundreds of dollars :/
I was exactly the same way! ALLLL boys when I started the hobby(: Now I'm almost all girls! I keep telling myself 'DO NOT SELL JAEGAR', I think he's safe though, as girl crazy as I am right now, I do still really love him ^^ He might be getting an update though..I like how he looks with his red hair and punky style but I'm getting sort of bored with it..sooo...yeah basically I don't know what I'm doing in this hobby XDDD I'm so fickle, I wish I could just buy a doll dress it up and be done! I know what you mean. I have to restrain myself from buying another saiph! I've sworn to myself from now on only one of each mold that I love, not too. Its harder for me to bond with the second one- probably because the first is the origonal and the first concept. But I am growing attatched to the tan dia a bit. I think I like him best with black hair because thats what he is using at the moment so hes not bold lol.Β

I know exactly what you mean! Drama is just aweful but it happens sometimes. That would be fin to take your dolls to CC- you just have to keep an eye on them. We are going to go to the DOA event next year, we're saving for it- I hope you'll be there! <3 It should be fun! We've already started preparing, we wanna buy a doll while we're there so we are all saving enough for a ticket, a hotel room, and a doll~

Lol so was I. But I dried his string off and I was actually going to get another wig so I didnt mind ruining Kit's with water, but only enough I just shook his wig out and blow dried it and it fluffed it back up and brought it back to life so now I dont have to get a new one at all lol.
