Description
This was supposed to be a normal ref, and then this happened. 8’D This is Renyth in his current armor, fairly fresh from Drow civilization. Ren was forced to break his Paladin’s oath to Loth when when a magical mishap (which is why his scars glow when he uses magic) caused him to flee his home to protect his brother, Nyl, the “perpetrator”. More on that later. 🤓 He was raised in a lawful evil city and family of some note- and while his younger brother always questioned it, Ren had plunged headfirst into becoming a paladin for the Spider Queen in order to please the family that had always been disappointed by his brother and him (through no fault of their own. The parents wanted a girl.) Now on the run, and living topside, he is experiencing extreme culture shock and is finding that his life and values from before are not going to serve him well here. He’s not really a bad guy by nature DESPITE nurture, but has a long way to go in untangling 109 years of baggage. He is extremely angry with everything and tends to approach most things with salty one-liners, the only person exempt from this at this point is is younger brother.

My last few DnD characters have been VERY unlike me, which is a fun challenge. The dynamic of this party is already hilarious.
