Description this is my first attempt of using terragen to make a cave scene, i know its not perfect but i spent ages trying to find a good image for the cave to over look but it just wasnt happening today
still i now know that their not that hard to do so i'll have another go soon.

as always critical comments welcome

i've only been doing it for just over a month so you should be able to do this in no time at all.
it wasnt that hard.
and yeah the texture could be improved.. everyone's said that and i completelt agree, thanks.

Check it out [link]

That's the trick with caves, being able to blend them in and have them fit over the image well. I think you did a good job with it though I can almost guarantee that you're going to get one "OMFGHOWDIDUDOTHAT!!!???!?!?!?!" from this.

Only real critique I have on this is the shoreline and the textures, especially the texture dividing line on the top portion of the cave. That and where you connected on the left would look better if it were a little more rounded.

thanks alot for the advice,
yeah i think it could be improved in the way it looks but i was mostly trying out the method of making a cave from terragen, but i can see what you're saying and i'll make it alot better next time.
Thanks.
