I did something like this once! I wrote something about the guys turning into girls and then realizing the horrors (horrors in their eyes, at least) of being one. I like these names you gave them a lot better than what I came up with, except for Jay, I named him Jane too, and Cole, I named him Colette and I liked that.
If you're curious, I named Kai "Katie" and Zane "Zally". It was supposed to just be "Sally" with a Z, sounded a little weird but I didn't even think of "Zoey". Silly me. xD Anyway, these are adorable, especially Zoey because NNNNG~ ZANE IS BAE~ <3

I actually changed my mind during the years, and I'm considering calling her Roxy, since the name Cole was intended to be a pun about being 'black' and 'earthy' like coal.
Jay might change into Robin - they're both bird names.

Roxy (it autocorrected to Foxy when I typed it, Wut, lol), is a good name now that I think about it.
Jay into Robin is nice (sort of like the Smash Bros. Fighter) but I like Oriole or Finch... Maybe Swift (since its the name of a bird)
