A late birthday present for ~skyprophecy1 . Since she loves my stories featuring Tumnus and Lucy (and Terence) so much, I decided to do a little illustration from one of those stories and dedicate it especially to her.Happy birthday, hon!
In case any of you are curious, this is a scene from my "Friends and Foes" story, where Tumnus sets out alone on a dangerous journey, and he and Lucy are bidding one another a tearful goodbye on the shore of the Eastern Ocean just before he leaves.

Lucy looks just like she does in the movie (though a little older). I love the detail in this, particularly Lucy's crown and freckles, and the little curls in Tumnus' hair. Nice job!

I remember that scene very well. It was so sad how they said goodbye like that. Neither knew when or if they'd see each other again, so it was especially heart-wrenching for them as well as it was for me D= I'd say that Friends and Foes has probably been the best out of all your stories that have such emotion in them and a very touching theme, too.
