Description
Oh, why you look so sad?
The tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don’t be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
‘Cause I’ve seen the dark side, too
When the night falls on you
You don’t know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
So, if you’re mad, get mad
Don’t hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry, too
Well, I’m a lot like you
When you’re standing at the crossroads
And don’t know which path to choose,
Let me come along
‘Cause, even if you’re wrong,
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Baby, even to your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you
And when, when the night falls on you, baby,
You’re feeling all alone
You won’t be on your own
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Baby, even to your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Baby, even to your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you…
A gift for my buddy PinokeDisneyFreak with the aid of my buddy Senshee . Hope you like it.
You'd be amazed how tricky Hector is to draw. Let's just say I reached the point where I had to show Kel a screenshot so she could depict the details a bit more properly. Needless to say, Jess loves these two movies to death, and she positively adores my Pinocchio fanfic, The Guardian, in which Terence is the one to take little Pinoke under his wing.

Oh, I can draw him, but it was thanks to Senshee that it looked even better, more refined. She's better with details like this, too.
You already have my permission to do whatever you want with it. Just give credit where it's due and we're cool.

I actually have an idea to fit this scene.

And for the record, I think it turned out fabulous, too. You know you got it right when your own work affects you.

Exactly. You know that plot for the episode I told you about, where Pinocchio is harassed by that skeleton boy? That’s where this scene is going to take place. When I’m able to get my Internet on my computer, do you think we could collaborate on this particular scene? In fact, I know exactly how this scene will play out in my head.
Héctor tries to get Pinocchio to talk and explain to him what’s going on, but the puppet won’t say a word. The reason? The skeleton boy, who is going to be a teenager in this, threatened and harassed him; saying if he ever says a word to anyone about the threats, the boy will make sure Pinocchio never sees Terence, Héctor, Jiminy or Miguel again and he’ll certainly see to it he never steps foot into the Land of the Dead again for as long as he lives.
Much to Pinocchio’s dismay, he spots the teenager in a crowd and runs to hide in an alley. Worried, Héctor impulsively takes off after him and soon discovers the poor child cowering in there. Once again, the skeleton attempts unsuccessfully to coax the traumatized puppet into giving him an explanation. Pinocchio thinks of the one thing he has to do; lie, which causes his nose to grow.
As expected, Héctor doesn’t buy it and finally convinces the boy to tell the truth, but there’s a catch; Pinocchio asks Héctor to keep this secret just between the two of them and reluctantly explains the threats the teenager has been making towards him. After hearing this,
despite his promise, a shocked Héctor immediately decides to inform Terence and Jiminy. Pinocchio grabs his hand, almost pulling it completely off and begs him not to; breaking down crying. That’s what I got, so far.

You know how Hector is with children when he's so good to Miguel even before they realize they're family. Even after learning about how he really died, he still took time to try to soothe Miguel when Miguel was all hurt and crying about Ernesto and about his last interaction with his living family. Took time to comfort someone else when he had plenty to be upset about on his own.

You said it yourself, he and Terence have so much in common, despite the fact one man is different from the other. That’s why I had Héctor and Pinocchio bond in these stories we’ve been doing together. I pictured him treating the puppet like he was his own great-great grandson, but, like Terence, it’s more of an older and younger brother relationship.

After all, Hector and Terence are roughly the same age. Well, biologically Terence is older, but since unicorns age a lot slower than humans do...yeah. Terence is 19 by unicorn standards, and Hector is 21, so close enough. Much of their personalities are the same, too, so I believe they would get along just fine.

Héctor is about 117 years old. I caught a glimpse of his age as a skeleton on a fan made Wiki for “Coco.” Considering how fatherly and protective they both act, I don’t doubt it.

Yes, but he died at age 21 and his daughter lived to see 100. And in actuality, Terence is 190 years old, so he could be Hector's grandpa, maybe even his grandpa's grandpa.

It makes sense that Hector would be good to Pinocchio because he's good to Miguel even before he realizes Miguel is his great-great-grandson.

It was because of Hector that I had a change of heart about this movie. I'm pretty skeptical about new movies.

It's not that I don't like movies but I never know how I'm gonna feel about it until I see it and I drag my feet for a good while.
Thanks to Hector, I pretty much did a 180-degree turn on this particular movie.
