Here we are, my second piece of art this day! It may not be nearly as glamorous as the first, but at least it's something. I wanted to go for something a little more simple this time. And I'm sure you can guess where this comes from.I'm not too happy with the silhouette (trying to get the lines at the appropriate angle was a nightmare), but I think the moon turned out wonderful. All I really did was use the colors white and silver, a soft brush and a hard brush, and the smudge tool.

How did you do the moon?! I like this. Simple and sweet!

First, I took the color white and used the hard brush tool to make a big circle. Then I took the soft brush tool and made a slightly bigger circle over the first, for that soft glow. Then I highlighted the whole moon and painted several streaks of pale silver over it. (This was so I would not paint outside the moon by mistake.) Finally, I used the smudge tool to smear it all around.

I don't know how I'd do a suitable crescent moon or half-moon. I tend to stick to full moons; they're the easiest.

Well.... you could do those with two circles overlapping each other. It could work.

I don't know about the program you use, but with Paint.net, you can create glows with a blur effect; and getting it in the shape you want is pretty easy with the highlighting tools.

Peter looks like a Heartless in this light, but what really like is how the smudging on the moon actually gives it a "man in the moon" effect, which if I were drawing the moon would have to go and make it an actual face.

Tinkerbell was a piece of cake.
All I had to do was use the soft and hard brushes, then apply the glitter brush.

Nice and mysertious (even though we know it's Pan ^^) But I love how you drew him; he looks just like a mischief-making little sprite, which, in a way, he is. Awesome drawing.

Because the background is so dark, I would think the light from tinkerbell would also shine onto pan. But, this is optional, depending on the mood you are going for!

Thanks for the critique. Tinkerbell isn't quite close enough to illuminate Peter's face, and besides, trying to do so would have been really hard for me. I'm not very good with shadows.
