Isn't it the most depressing thing to see that during two months, you didn't even do a sketch? And most other months, you have only two pencil sketches to choose from for the summary?
I want 2020 to look like 2019 October and December, that's for sure

I haven't done more than 25 decent pieces of art in the past five years ever since I started going digital. The bulk of what I have are either abstracts or stationary design. So, no need to feel bad. You probably did more this year than I managed to do. You lovely work.

No, I don't think so, I think we can't force creativity. It comes when our muse calls to us. I don't think we can hurry artistry. I hope you won't be hard on yourself this year.

Yes, that's also true. Still, I think that a sketch a day is important, as art is not only about inspiration and creativity but it's also a craft. The best inspiration is useless if an artist isn't training their skills. Just like music, if you don't play piano everyday, your fingers get tired. 
But you're right, too. Inspiration can't be forced, and real masterpieces should get their time.

You are very correct as well. I don't draw but I do want to learn to do digital painting. I have always wanted to know how to draw but lack the discipline to get through the hard part of trying to teach myself when I have never done anything like that before with drawing. Guess if I want it bad enough, I will, huh?
