Description Cross stitched sampler. Contains many stitches and embellishments I'd never worked with before and lots of different sizes of metallic threads and blending filaments, some stitched, some couched. A fascinating and time-consuming project that I loved working on and learning from. I loved the sentiment in the words as well, a positive message in a cute poetic form.

A row of peaches just above the 'Kind deeds are fruits' line should qualify this for the fruit contest at Stitching Pirates.

Stitched on 28 count linen, using DMC floss, Kreinik metallic threads and filaments.

The pattern is designed by Sandy Orton, published by Leisure Arts, currently oop.

wow amazing to have so much detail while stiching. The gold works really good. Gold works almost always in needlework is my oppinion

The outline on the peaches is a raised stitch with very heavy gauge gold thread.
