I got my daughter 2 sets of the Construct-bots because she gets into creative things. She made a couple of neat robot dragons but I had to point out how much cooler it'd be for her to make something that transformed. A few hours later, she brings me this, telling me its Depthcharge and showing me the 3 modes. Not bad! Everything pegs into place well enough in each mode and unless you count the "gun" there is no parts swapping to transform.Sting ray

PRetty amazing she made that. That looks very awesome, and I like her idea of making him a triple changer. Everything looks nice and flows great. I've never actually owned one of these, but I have seen a lot of the ones people have made, and this is probably one of the best I've seen.
(I saw this somewhat bizarre one that looked like Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and Soundwave ran into each other in a very bad accident... nuff said).

Haha yeah I think with the recognizable colors and character parts that might be hard to avoid.

Yeah, I guess so. And then not like they would put out part packs of random characters never featured in any media... that might actually be a cool idea though.
This one, however, looks very nice and as though it could have been an official product.
