Description
Cringer had always been more of a close companion and friend than a pet to Adam, and now his friend lay motionless on the floor deep inside the ancient castle Grayskull. After a fierce battle with losses on both sides, Battlecat had been mortally wounded by Skeletor. Adam now stood in the hallowed halls of Grayskull, tears in his eyes, screaming for the sorceress' aid.The sorceress appeared before the Prince of Eternia, already aware of the situation, and gave Adam the only option she could think of.
"Cringer has few remaining breaths to take. My magic can not heal these wounds, as Skeletor has made sure his body will die. However there is an ancient relic from another world here that may have the power to preserve his soul within the mortal realm. It is called the Protoform. It has no form yet and its spark of life is blank. Cringer can possibly be revived through it, but I must warn you, he would no longer be the same. He would be like those of the world which the relic came."

Everyone must have been quite surprized the first time he transformed.
Battlecat would be fine with this. Cringer would need more time and a good therapist to get use to it.

I'd wonder though if he'd be battle-cat all the time based on how they transferred his soul into the protoform.Β I also do think the idea of having a protoform on Eternia could work.Β Β
