Description
Here is Universe Dinobot, repainted to look more accurate to the Beast Wars show. I also added a few links to his sword with 2 part epoxy sculpt and painted it. This is pretty much a full body repaint. Hasbro made a much better Dinobot figure here, but for whatever reason, they again failed to color him correctly. I'm really happy with how this guy came out!Related content

Thanks! I saw recently that the Henkei version of this Dinobot figure will be colored right. Pretty much the same as what I did here.

Excellent repaint. I'd like to see some pictures of him in Beast Mode just to get an overall idea. How long did this project take you?

Yeah, but it's at least better than the purple and yellow(!) version that' been floating around on the internets.
You did a very nice paint job, but i feel that the presentation could be improved dramatically.
The important thing is the toy inside, but pretty packaging helps sell it.

I lost my really good camera in a move so I'm stuck either waiting until I get a new one, or taking crummy pics. I chose crummy pics because it's good enough to get the idea. I will post better ones when I get a new camera, and maybe some sun out here lol. If I was selling these, i'd invest in a better set up ASAP, but I just do it for fun.

That's all fine and dandy, but until then, how about making a little tab off to the side(or below) for text, so that it's not on top of the picture itself?

Gosh, you're a picky one aren't ya, heh. The text does not touch or overlap the focal point of the image, which is the toy itself. I put the name of what is shown, and my initials in most of my pics. This makes it a bit more trouble for someone to save my work and claim it as their own too. I'm not sure why the text being where it is bothers you though.

It's not so much a bother as a point of principle. Though you make a strong arguement with the anti-plagarisim technique.

OMG I LOVE DINOBOT!!! He was second fave character next to Megatron in Beast Wars.
