  [ Pre Group Hisory ]: He is born! Badru is the result of love and lies. His father, Kieran, seduced Kesi, his mother, by telling her that he loved her and that he wasn't seducing other lionesses. Kesi loved him so much that she believed him, allowing the lion to mate with her without them being mates. This went on for a time without complications until Kesi became pregnant. It was when she went to inform Kieran that he was going to be a father that she found out the truth, catching Kieran with another lioness. Betrayed, Kesi declared that the lion would not have anything to do with his cubs or with her unless Kieran quit messing around. She also makes it clear that he will be monitored when he visits the cubs.

During her pregnancy, Kesiah tries to convince everyone that Kesi slept around with other lions, but Kesi knows the truth. Her trust broken, Kesi decides that the only other lion that can be trusted around her babies is Wajanja, their older half-brother and, unbeknownst to Kesi, Kieran's son. Kesi would raise her cubs knowing their father but teach them not to be like him while harboring love and hate for him: Hate that he lied to her; love that he gave her the cubs.
