You get the feeling that the bastards might just go a little too far with her in the end. What does not kill her may well make her terrifyingly stronger. She may well tell the help offered her to piss off knowing that deep down the drugs are doing things that will ultimately make her the Mistress of the military and the machines. Perhaps they will wish they hadn't when she kicks in the door of central command with her automatic blazing and grabs the first mainframe computer she sees by the throat and demands the damn thing light her cigar.
