Description I thought it would be funny again to make a photomanipulation because I am bored right now.

Ok first the photo:
My camera was lying on the floor and " aiming" on a reflection in a bevel (I hope it's the right word ) dormer.

Manipulation:
I cropped the image and separated the model from the background using the mask tool.
Then I seperated the reflection from the remaining background using the lasso tool.
After this I added a motion blur filter to this layer. I also duplicated the " reflection layer"
I added some blurfilter and this funny Mosaic-Tiles filter to the "reflection layer"
Then I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool and selceted the part of the photo showing the legs of the model. I set the feather to 30 Pixel and deleted the remaining parts of this layer.

Hm I think that's all. Realy easy but I like the result

Hope you like it too

Hm I can see this every day on my way into beed and I thought it looks cool somehow because of the angle. So I took this photo, but I wanted to hide parts of my room so I was thinking about something to do so and ended up with this effect.

I like the concept and idea. Two things I notice that I think could be changed for the better are... the outlines of the "tiles" change to a lower opacity. This will take the focus away from the tiles and onto the model more. The other thing is moving the model layer above the tiles layer in the layers palette. This will make the model look like he's standing on the tiles (like he should be) instead of having his feet inside the tiles.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I will try to lower the optical of the outlines.

The model layer is above the "tiles" layer. But I added another tiles layer above the model layer, to cover the legs so it looks like they are merged with the tiles layer. Thats why I called it "Merged"

It looks very much like a stained glass, and you're emerging from it, to look at the real world...

Very interesting piece ^-^
