So videogame cover contest

The original idea was to parody the grand theft auto cover, a low hanging fruit if ever there was one, and make Grand Theft Gender. But the game itself would just be a Visual novel/Dating sim with a TG twist, just like the other 12 entries that were exactly like that. But I was playing GTA again the other night, and suddenly it hits me: (an idea not a police car, though that happened too) Instead of coping the cosmetics of the game, Copy the gameplay concept: An open sandbox where random shit happens and you're free to dick around. So I give you

Flux Redux! A game where you're able to swap the traits of most people, animals and objects with your ray gun. You are a college student, the sand box is the campus, and you're free to wander around and swap the world as you see fit. Some good examples would be to swap 2 people's gender for vanilla TG, or just swap their heads, or grab the nearest cat and make a nekomimi and furry. Combine with jello and make a slime girl! Or a butterfly to get a fairy! Even swap mental things like personalities, and memories. Now the plot missions pull that Puella madoka/Blood C thing of starting off cartoony and fanservice-y but then getting really dark. Using the transformations as metaphors for things like: identity crisis, body image, lacking direction in life/depression and this over all idea that we are born and die alone. This nihilistic view about the inevitability of death and the nessesity of identity in a formless, chaotic world perpetually changing. Superficially perhaps not, but deep down we truly traverse this existence utterly alone with ourselves.

Or just screw all that, and play in the sandbox, beat the game by only doing the side missions for a completely different non-depressing ending about what a sexy fetish this is. Turn everyone into a girl and make a harem, or do the opposite and leave only one girl to watch her have to put up with all the male AIs trying to purpose to her.

See that's what I like about this idea, it's either as sexy or as story intensive as the player wants it to be.
