Description
The story is growing up, adding new characters. So, here some of character concepts (for backstory and flashbacks).
Probably some of them would be redone. For features or correct details for example.
First about the theme.
"Moloch" ("Talos" in NATO reporting names) - battle assault robot, equipped with neuromorphic processor called “intellector” having an ability of self-learning and innovative thinking. But no matter how smart is machine, we all have read and watched too much scary stories to relax and just let the armored AI wandering free. Also, robots, don't have such thing as subconscious, intuition and human moral. Machine logic is not the only right way. So, each robot assigned to a human operator, whose face and name hidden being a secret. Instead they have special numbers. "Molochs" are fully automatic AI, anyway the last word should be after humans. Operators control their bots through the brain implants.
1)
"Amm, girls? Could you... Please, you can crash me!"
"Do you mean I'm fat?"
"Oh, come on, Olga, I know this trick very well!"
W-16-13-33 and OL-89 ("Olya") and KL-22 ("Yalo").
After his Operator's death robot KL-22 was temporary assigned to Operator W-16-13-33 who already has OL-89. And then everybody forgot it. Now poor man used to babysitting with two Molochs. Operator's personality usually has strong influence on robot's. Unconsciously W projects his daughters onto wards robots. That's why he gave them female names Olya and Yalo, linking to the old film "Kingdom of crooked mirrors". Trying to to adapt to her (or still his?) new teammates Yalo really acting like a mirror, repeating acts after naughty "sister" Olya.
2)
"That's not fair, now you dance much better than me."
"Then, may be it's my turn to teach?"
L -32-2-16-3-30 and FL-37 (Philip)
L- half blooded Armenian girl. Trying keeping an optimistic face she suffering of mood swings and deep fear of death. Because of brain implants Operators are totally bald. L doesn’t shy about it but still wear wigs under the helmet, despite of discomfort. Well, you can’t forbid a girl being beauty, right? She has taught Philip dancing for fun. Very soon Philip discovered that he easily can use dance elements at battle. Also his interest in cryptography started when he learned that humans used to interactive each other by “cipher” based on cultural code: symbols, rituals, allegories... And dance too. Being very fond to L Philip suffered her loss extremely hard.
3)
" Now who are handsome men here, buddy? Hey, don't look at me like that, I know you love it!"
"Just die already."
"Hah, nice joke as always, my friend!"
" I never joke."
S-12-16-18-2-30 and YAK-15 (Lutiy (“Fierce”) or, if you want to mock him, Lutik (“Buttercup “)
S considering himself as “cool guy” and “rebel”, but nobody really take him serious. Trying to act as they are the best buddies with Lutik totally refuses to see the robot's cold contempt. People often give their stuff (cars for example) character traits. As S also did. He even made a spetial paintjob for Lutik. But don’t look at this painted smile. Lutik obviously doesn’t enjoy his Operator’s company. Actually comparing to his colleges - Molochs, Lutik is much more robot than others. He is aloof, canny, grumpy and bit nerdy. Probably the reason of this callousness is the fact, that S is his 5th Operator after the first 4 who died or was killed. So all you can see under this painted smile is the grumpy “my Operator is idiot” face.
4)
R-15-6-3 and DM-51 (David | Dmitriy)
Well, this one I should edit, the man should be much smaller comparing to robot.
"No one machine can ever take the human right to die of nicotine!!!"
"Aha, watch me."
Having a hard childhood with a tyrannical stepfather and weak mother R turned into prickly nervous lump. During the bombing the special shelter for Operators was destroyed. DM saved his Operator right from the fire violating general order. Despite of serious wounds and burns R survived, but lost his legs. Here on the picture it’s artificial limbs. After the war his son was born, and even though his family life was not completely developed R was still grateful to the robot who saved his life and gave his child a chance to come into this world.
David is that type of friend who always and honestly would say that your tie doesn’t fit you because it looks like a parrot vomit. Sassy, sarcastic just like R, he is misanthropic piece of metal who never lost a chance to mock Lutik or to tease someone for a sensitive issue.
After all the Molochs were withdrawed of arms, David was the one of those lucky enough who weren’t fully deconstructed. He was included in program of retraining war robots and after erasing memory and reflashing he became the guard in the Botanical nursery "Simurgh". Now he has a new name Dmitriy and probably never remember old friendship.
Also here are animalistic robots involving in the story, such as snake using poison gas, carrier calf (who was actually headless, but some local mechanics added the calf head for fun) and spy falcon.
Woooo, scrap, I killed so much time for text... Sorry for this messy.
If you see mistakes or can't understand something ask me, don't shy. I don't want everybody thinking that I hate English XDD

I like the way you carefully depict different camoflages for different settings. The robot falcons are beautifully designed. I appreciate raw machinery as much as the next person, but I find most robot concepts focus more on being minimalistic or aggressively overblown rather than aesthetically pleasing. It makes sense than bots like these, which are meant to "befriend" and interact with their operators, should be easy on the eyes.

Welp, probably you are right. By the other hand three years ago when I started with the project it was the point.
I mean, if you'll look on the earlier concepts, like this one SFA: chokeberry you'll see that first I tried to make it minimalistic, concise and expressive at the same time. When I started to make more sketches to try plasticity it was felt like I trying to bend a freaking wood log. If you look some comics or cartoons (Sumurai Jack for example), you'll see how masters worked out with such limited materials and make it look vivid and expressive being wery simple actually. And the look always works on the character.
Well, this ability cames with amount of drawings.
But I desided to go with adding more details trying to save the first impression of something unfriendly and rough (considering Dmitriy). Sadly I can't spend more time fore personal projects for now. Or work a bit faster at least, heh.
