Say hello to the biggest artillery siege howitzer, ever... Dubbed Cataclysm for its intended role, This Arty is so large it's concealment was the castle that was built around it during construction eventually causing it to be lost by history. Designed for pretty much one thing and one thing only, the complete and utter annihilation of another nation with a Singular shot caused by the estimated blast radius of anywhere from 800 to 1200 miles. This would have ensured whatever this gun hits is removed from the same plane of existence and possibly the two parallel ones next to it.

The gun was originally built with 2 high yield shells for opposing nations, two lower yield shells for the purpose of taking a town/city off the map, and 2 solid Dwarven Steel penetrators capable of punching through solid granite up to 2 miles deep from thousands of miles away. Part of Cataclysm's raw destructive power comes from the fact that when firing the shells are propelled into low orbit, enabling it to land one of its punch lines anywhere in the world amplified by the strength of its explosive payload striking the target at re-entry speed.

This massive 42 foot (1260mm) howitzer is mounted on what can only be described as a mobile castle. It comes with nearly impenetrable armor and Explosive resistant tracks capable of surviving the main gun's high yield blast at point blank range. It has an internal ammo rack for the 6 shells with a vertical loading system, in which the gun must be aimed 90 degrees straight up to be reloaded from inside by the mechanical loader. It has room for an army featuring 2 barracks, for 65 men each, accompanied by its original origins as a castle, it has a very complicated internal layout that even confused the builders.

This is a concept sketch for a friend of mine. In a story he has this artillery unit laying dormant for centuries with its gun pre aimed on the city it was originally meant to destroy, commanded by the "Mad King" who was paranoid of events to come. Various things happened and the Mad King's death ensued a chain reaction that eventually lead to this super arty being forgotten, hidden under it's castle exterior. Though one day a small band of explorers hundreds of years later discovered the ruin's control room intact and fully functional... the team accidentally fired the pre aimed highest yield shell into a major city, leading one of them to go insane with the Mad King's thoughts of world domination. The Recoil and blast destroyed the exterior castle revealing the vehicle underneath in perfect condition. It had waited this occasion.
