Mark Richard Hamill (born September 25, 1951) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is best known for portraying the hero Luke Skywalker in the 1977 film Star Wars and its two sequels, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi . In recent decades he has become a prolific voice actor , most notably as The Joker in a number of Batman cartoons and video games (beginning with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992).Related content
