Guessing from the Solaria design seen in "Pizza Party"/"Tavern at the End of the Multiverse", Solaria must've trimmed her hair compared to what it looked like from the Book of Spells

well it kinda makes senses since if we look at her personal history
she's likes to change her hairstyles like left and right with her drawings
of herself and eclipsa's drawing of her as well and it makes her more
down to earth person or down to mewni in this case XD and plus
she is the baby sister of jushtin butterfly it makes scene that he would
try to get her to change hairstyle once in a while .... and well she's dead
in pizza party so for all we know she's showing old version of herself because
think about it her look is just before she started the war she wanted just
before the solarian worriers became a thing before her ruling of mewni
became a bloody battlefield so yeah i don't know if this helps i guess
