It sure is. I guess so few of us could sacrifice so much to make others happy. Even just reading the chapter I kinda lost a part of myself.

I can relate. It brought tears to my eyes, and I'm not one to cry about much. I've been thinking for quite some minute now, trying to find a way to properly express how I feel about Lyra — I mean about everything she stands for and means to me — but it's just too hard a task for me; I can't even begin to put it into words, all the more so in a dA comment.

Also, How d'you make them letters so tiny, that's the best I can achieve!

That's the very situation to say "I know that feel, bro"

The weeks, when I was reading the story, she became so close, like a person, who you meet every day. And every day she shared her sad experience, her losses, her victories. Her every step deserves a discussion, cause there were flights and falls, the most loyal decisions and mistakes in a state of despair. 

Unfortunately this fanfic tells us one more that no matter how hard you try and how much were you through - life may be unfair and you'll get nothing in the end. But it also tells that you can make the others very happy.

Yes, I made this right after I finished that chapter. It was the most sad one I've read. Lyra was so selfless. Nameless hero, nopony will remember, giving away a dream to make another pony happy. I wish her curse ended and everypony would appreciate what she's done to them, but I have so little time to read, it will take her all August, I guess

I didnt finish reading yet as well, its so sad that i read like one chapter each month at most...my mind just cant handle so much sadness at once i guess, i cry too much ;~;

Yeah, the author knows how to create the atmosphere of absolute sadness and despair. But come on! The faster you finish it - the faster all those sad things will end

Нос с челкой слегка вперед выдаются - их и видно, а все остальное скрывает холодная тень.

У нее же в рассказе обычный капюшон был.
