"Why did you do that to him?""Because the dirty little rat knows exactly why he deserved it. He's the one who acts like the victim while I'm over here cleaning up his mess." Carter snaps at the question, huffing as he tended to his simple yet deep wounds.
"How come you haven't noticed it's pointless?"
"In which way are you asking this. In the case of trying to get at Unix, it's because I still believe that ass wipe of a discarded glass of shit doesn't deserve her." Carter said with bared teeth, shaking his head as he spoke up once more... "And for the kid? As long as I'm not dead he isn't going to stop hanging out with me. I'm his only 'friend' besides that pathetic excuse of a fish." Carter snarled, finishing the bandages up.
"Why are you manipulating Anabeth?"
"I'm not manipulating anyone. That has never been my goal. She just happens to be in love with the shit shake so I made sure I had a plan b, that doesn't mean she's still not my best friend, dumbass." He sighed, rubbing his eyes.
