Wow, you did a really good job on this. I usually don't like most Deathnote fan-art, but this is really good. I like the lines and the shading, and you did a really good job with the expression and overall L-ness.
I love this series, and it's refreshing to see some good fan-art coming in for it.
I stopped reading about three books after L dies though...it got SOOOO boring after that and I hate Mello and Near...they're wierd.

thanks, I never read the books, but I watched all of the anime and this is by far my favorite pic of L. I agree it went south after L died, but it was still interesting enough for me to see it through to the end.

Well actually the Deathnote manga/anime flip over was one of the closest I've ever seen. I saw a few of the episodes myself, and I do have to say that while I normally prefer the Japanese dub with English subtitles in most anime's Deathnote I can go both ways with. I don't like Ryuk's english voice, but L and Light have sexy voices, and I like Misa's voice too.
The manga and the anime for Deathnote are almost exactly the same, so it's really cool.
