He chewed on his gum while the dusty fan spun lifelessly.His feet crossed on his desk,which held nothing but his trusty magnum and a few old dollar bills.
The small wooden chair squeaked as he dug into his pocket.Appearing with an old picture.It was black and white.The white fold lines seemed to cut the picture into small fragments.Her hair wasn't perfect anymore.
With the clock ticking nervously he took to his feet in an instant.His heels tapped the hollow wooden floor.
Outside the sky was red.and the sun was waiting on the horizon for him.
His eyes reflected a thousand stars, his heart beat sounded like the beating of a racing horse's feet on the ground.
Everyday that added to her absense.His heart was shrinking.Was losing layers.Losing faith.
With the desert dust invading his sweaty old suede boots, and the bitter north wind bringing the nothingness into his eyes.
He held her picture upto the dying sun which layed in the distance,then compared the image, and said softly "i'll find you...I can't live without my daylight".
And as lonely and empty as he was.
His heart shone the brightest ever that night,because he knew what he was doing, like the old man vowed,he followed the sun for etenity,still following her trail now.Still holding her picture up, to the greatest star this side of the universe,just to remind him, how she looks.
He still follows now. With his recently new transparent skin. A man stabbed him and left him for dead. But love hurts. Life goes on after death, she waits for him forever, at the gates of eternity.

They'll meet again.
we'll meet again.
