- clouds on their journey to the sea -As I experienced it, the Cornwall area near the sea had two faces: slightly hilly meadows, country houses, and shrubs on the one hand. On the other hand, changeable weather, dangerous cliffs, and above all: a strong wind. I tried to include all of these things which seemed to be typical for Cornwall to me in the photo (except for the cliffs since this photo is not showing the sea view). Therefore, I payed much attention to the clouds which emphasized the roughness of the area in contrast to a charming countryside scenery.
The first thing I wanted the eye to look at was the country house. I hoped this to work out since the surrounding area was shadowed by the clouds and the house stood out against the rest of the image. The second thing I wanted the viewer to look at was the mighty clouds, which certainly draw the viewer's attention since they consist of bright tones.

Aber wie wir ja wissen, auch ein erster Eindruck ohne Hintergrundwissen kann ein gutes Feedback sein, da man als Künstler oft zu tief in der Materie/ im Motiv drin steckt, als dass man das noch frisch beurteilen kann.

I know nothing of photography. BUT, the landscaping, along with the country house looks pretty daring while above it you have clouds that are, somewhat, in a hurry. It's interesting to see such a photograph like that. You never see clouds moves with such quick speed, while the middle part of the photograph looks calm. It's realistic to have that part in, because it's what makes "Cornwall", you know? It's different, and somehow grandeur when the sun shines bright upon the whole country. Awesome job on it. ^_^]-b
