I agree with you that it would be nice if the apple was in focus. The hedgehog was really fast and I didn't want to disturb it too much. So, I decided to leave it at this shot.

I remember about a storybook I had when I was little
There was this little hedgehog trying to eat an apple during the whole summer and each time someone would steal it from him
then the fall came and he was scared he won't even have a single bite
then he found a very very very sweet apple hidden in a bush
and it was the happiest moment of his life
