The other day I was like what if I made a danganronpa oc with a dumb talent but then I realized... There's actually a lot I can do to work with this and thus Akiko was born. I kind of based her design after some of the more "non-standard" character designs in the series, like Yamada, Teruteru, Bandai, etc because for some reason they're always some of my favorite designs, and I thought it'd be nice to see some ocs designed in the same way as well? As of course, with all my "joke" ocs, she basically just exists for me to make fun of myself.

Personality:
Being as small as she is, with a talent that could be considered quite strange by some, Akiko has adopted a tough attitude and quick tongue (or so she thinks) to fend off anyone who dares mess with her. In reality, she faces very little conflict due to her quiet but complacent and agreeable nature. Or maybe it's the resting bitch face. She's not really sure, but regardless, she appreciates the lack of trouble. She can often be found drawing or daydreaming, generally minding her own business. However, when she's fursuiting, the opportunity to be someone other than herself even just briefly changes her personality upside down, becoming much more outgoing and excitable. She herself enjoys her talent, but feels that it's ultimately useless. Akiko grew up in the outskirts of a large city, raised by her Japanese father and American mother, and as such, has a bit of an interest in American culture.

Her whiskers are glued onto her cheeks. She gets embarrassed if they fall off, and they fall off quite often

Akiko tends to be somewhat elusive, but I discovered that she spends most of her time in the kitchen because it's the warmest place in the hotel where there aren't many people, but something tells me she's just there to sneak food. She looks like she's drifting off whenever I try to talk to her...

She finds being the Ultimate Furry nothing more than useless title, and instead prefers to utilize all the skills that individually come with the talent, and considers the outgoing side of herself part of her talent but not her personality. I asked to see some of her artwork, but she declined.

Akiko moved from place to place a lot as a child. Because of this, she found it hard to make friends, and eventually determined that making an effort to get to know people she'd likely never see again wasn't worth her time. She doesn't feel lonely easily, because her daydreaming keeps her occupied.

Being stuck on this island is making her go a bit crazy. I don't really understand how that's the case if she enjoys being alone in small spaces all day, but in reality, I think it's the lack of internet that's making her go crazy. I told her she should make an attempt to and meet people instead of pretending to be ok with not talking to anyone. She said she'd try to talk to more people, but only if I introduced everyone to her.

When we get off the island, Akiko says she wants to meet more people. Being stuck here really made her realize how much she was taking company for granted. She considers me a friend and said she'd draw something for me someday, but I still haven't seen her art yet... I'm not sure what she'll draw, but I look forward to it anyway.
