"Over the bridge" is great composition. It is framed by foliage, yet, to the right, the photo is open to the pathway that leads to the bridge. That is excellent.

Hmm... The bridge isn't as red as I imagined it would be. A bit too green in general, lol, you were right.
Although the sharper plants in the foreground are a lot more eye-catching in this version.

nah both are cool as. This would actually look mad in a highly saturated scenario say shot with Fuji velvia slide or... Black and White infra red.

The composure is very nice in both photos, unfortunately the shadow shows more in this version. Both pics are amazing and it is hard to choose.
If it is possible, I suggest that you take your photos in colour and convert them to black and white or sepia afterwards. I can convert any photo to either black and white or sepia using my camera. The 'new' photo is then saved with a different name therefore conserving the original.

My camera manual has many pages, I am sure that your SLR manual would have much more to it. I do it using the 'my colours' option while viewing the photos.

I think I like this version more then the black and white one.
Did you intentionally focus on the flowers in the front?

Nice shot in color as well, however after seeing it in color, i dont think it would be of much effect if you did the black and white with one thing colored style photo.

Wow, very pretty, I can't decide which one I like the best. The only thing I don't like about this one is the big shadow in the flower bushes on the left side. It's a very nice shot once again
