Description
Impressive Title to Feral Heart manes part 1. These manes are 2,3,4,5 and 6. Theres still more to come as well as tufts. I'm going to do them for canines as well. However i haven't got a clue how to actually get them working ingame at the moment but hopefully i can. I never used to be fond of that long looking mane (1st one on second row.) Added it to the Feline model and wow thats one handsome male lion. I might do a few extras that weren't in the IT game. Like Full belly hair for barbary lions ^^ I have a Barbary Lion character on FH and he doesn't look like one without his belly hair. I felt Feral Heart lacked manes and whats the point in making new ones when you could just re-add his old.Part 2: [link]

I really hoped Kov (the creator of IT and FH) would have added these in. But he didn't. And probably has abandoned FH along the way. I don't even understand why he made fh, if he was going to just walk away from it.

Kov created the game but, like most admins, mods, and actual members, he abandoned the game. This was simply because he didn't have much time for updating it and actually putting time into it. His real life (i.e. school, work, life) took hold and he found he could no longer devote time to the game, thus leaving it in the hands of the moderators.
Kov said so himself on his facebook page (I dunno if it's still available, he may have deleted his page).
I don't think he had the intention on giving out any of the files because he was afraid that someone may steal them, like many people nowadays do. But that's just what I think.
But still, it would've been amazing to get these (and other creations) into the game itself. Pity. :c

i also heard that he was working on other games. I'm not sure if it was for school or work. But since he put the time into the game, you'd at least think he'd give the code to someone he can trust so that they can continue updating the game to keep it exciting etc. The last time i went on i sat for 10 minutes. All i did was look around. I got bored and went off. The game had potential, it's a shame he had to just leave it at a beta stage.

exactly. At least before i could sit and read the general chat box if i was bored. Now since i happened to be too far away there wasn't anything but undetailed scenery to keep me busy. I can't wait for Isle of eventide though. It looks like it will surpass FH and IT together. And that's not just in gameplay and graphics. But most likely animations as well.

your unable to get it as i've not actually made a download for it. It's not even in FH yet, it's only on the models. I need the skeleton and to be able to mess with the in game files to add these in. And the only person that has them is probably just the creator of the game.

Those manes are epical! Idk why they didn't just keep the IT stuff, remove the glitches, and improve it...

i totally agree with you. I loved the manes on impressive title. There was a lot of designs to choose from that would go well with any character.

these mane's weren't originally made by me, They were made by kovuLKD, who made Both impressive Title and Feral Heart. I just got the mane's from the first game and edited them to fit the feral heart model. I have to agree with you that adding these in game would be great.

from what i heard kovuLKD lost his source code for Feral Heart. Meaning he actually can't edit his game anymore for future updates. I think i heard it from one of the mods. But i'm unsure if this is true or not. But yep those manes are awesome.

yep, otherwise feral heart may never be updated and would probably die out if people get bored with the lack of stuff to do.

i used to play feral heart all the time, But haven't actually fully played it in months. All my friends on there don't play anymore and the game is being filled with noobs. Which just make the game annoying when they have their random little drama's over the same thing. "This is my territory... Leave." when infact your not allowed to claim public maps. Only maps you've created yourself. When i joined Impressive title for the first time, i admit i couldn't rp all that well. But i didn't act immature and start causing trouble around me. A person asked me if i'd be their cub. I told them i was rusty at rping, But they didn't mind and took me under their wing. I learned how to have a good rp from them.

I still paly FeralHeart, I only have two friends on there. But yeah its becoming full of Noobs, and hard to find literates, but you gotta know that everyone starts out new they can be a master at something they have never been on. I was A newbie at first on the game, and so were you.We all start out new and soem of us are lucky for someone to teachs us instead of us finding out the hard way.

yeah i totally agree with you. i just wish the newbies on feral heart would actually learn from other's by joining in on rp's. But it'll have to be a rp where people who are literate have to understand that they don't fully know how to rp. I'm sure there was a thread once on feral heart site about the basics of rping. Someone sat and wrote out instructions to follow while rping.

that can be done. However i'd have to do every color possible, for Variety for players. And positioning just one mane may take days to get in.

if i had the time, i'd actually add these manes in, but because i'm working on my own game project it's hard to find the time to game these days. But if there's a easier way and not very time consuming i'll add the manes in. But to do that i'd need kov's model's skeleton files as well as access to the scripts to code them in game. I highly doubt he'll allow me to do that.

I think it was toxic that did that mane pack, He/She did it as a item pack. And at the moment there's no way that i can think of that'll get the game to allow items to have several different colors like choosing a pelt color. So i'd have to manually add tons of colors. Trust me i already thought of adding them as a item. But it's just too much time needed to do them. And doing them as a item, not everyone will see it. That's why i'd prefer if i was able to get them working in game, just like how the other manes work.

I heard he doesn't even have the source code for it anymore, so he /can't/ update it even if he wanted to.

The only way to get them ingame is use them as a item. However i'm not wanting to do that as i want them under the other manes in the character creation screen. Not sure how to do that yet. So you'll just have to wait until i can figure it out.

You can either make it into an item or replace the mane meshes I can imagine. You cannot 'add' in things like that to my knowledge. I'm sure you can mod the mess out of the game some sort of way. But you risk crashing it if I am not mistaken.

yeah trying to add these in by modding the game would most likely result in a crash. And yeah the only way to add them would be to use them as a item. However placing items into FH are time consuming and a pain in the backside. 1 mane will probably take me several hours just to get it facing in the right direction. Then to please everyone i'd have to make each mane several textures so that they can have a mane color they want. So basically to get this ingame i'm going to have to see if i can get it working without crashing.

Wow that's an interesting concept. Though to add them in I have a feeling you're gonna need to crack the FH files in order to rewrite them, and that'll be a job in itself. Good luck though!

i'm not sure if kov was going to add these in. Im just a member of the FH community the same as you, since i liked some of the old IT manes i wanted to see what they would look like on the FH models. Turns out they look great. I'm trying to figure out how to get them ingame though.
