Description Well, now this is a portrait of me... I mean, male Australopithecus afarensis.
Maybe the first of a serie of Hominid portraits, I wanna make them for a class work.

Prof Lee Berger of Wits uni in South Africa posted this on Twitter: "I am looking for any artwork, interpretations of fauna, flora, the environment related toΒ  #MalapaΒ orΒ  #sediba. We are beginning to explore artwork and artists to use in a future museum at Malapa. If you know of artists who have attempted work please DM me or send me examples." If that's you please contact him (not me).

Fantastic! Your hominids reflect an understanding of primate anatomy. I hope you do many more of these.

Thanks. I like hominids, but I'm not an expert at all and I draw them to learn something while making the restorations (that really helps to see tiny details that often are ignored).
Glad you like them.
