It is such a cool phase, I love it when everyone was young and had so much fun. Even 2D and Murdoc looks hotter in this phase.

I miss Phase One too; everyone seemed to be at their best...

The good ol' days. xD Somehow, deep down, I think Murdoc might actually be thinking back to it in that secret room of his at Plastic Beach. It might be a bit far-fetched, but you never know.

Kickin' it old school! Aah, back to simpler days, when everyone was young and energetic and the worst thing they had to worry about was Murdoc passing out drunk in the toilet again. Looking back at this makes me really sad about what happened to Noodle.

I agree; a lot seems to happen to both Noodle and Russel. As much as I think the storyline for Phase 3 is interesting, I can't help but miss the simpler wacky atmosphere Phase 1 had. :3

Y'know, it almost seems like the characters were more spotlighted back then than they are now. I mean, they grew up alot, graphics got more detailed through phases... But it seems like along the way, Gorillaz became more about collaborations and less about Gorillaz.. If that makes sense.
At least in Phase 3 it seems this way. so many unanswered questions about the band and characters.
Anyway. Awesome, awesome job. Thanks for letting me reminisce.

Yeah, it does seem like we're seeing less and less of the characters these days... besides Murdoc, that is. All the same though, what we do see of the characters this time around is simply wonderful! The artwork, animations, etc. <3
