i really like this one. may i ask what types of pencils you used? to me it looked like you used mostly soft lead types, maybe a 2B or 4B.
Changing lead types for different shades can give you a much more smooth appearance and create sharper contrasts

well let me see... everything from 2H to 8B it says on my pencil box, i also have bought a separate 9B pencil for really dark shades, dont remember if i used it on this drawing however.

The whole arsenal.huh. I had a b9 as well once.but they use up so fast. I should take the time to try a drawing like this again . Hope to see some more of.these from you. Definitely are some good eyecatchers

Ah i See . Yeah I usually use the full arsenal as well. I was juxtaposition wondering cause you keep a strong texture in.Your hatchings. I should try a picture like these as well again some time when time.is available for.it .

I plan to...trouble is, I had a basement flood and a lot of my old stuff got lost. Plan to do some new as soon as I get desk space enough to draw!
