Twist/Featherweight makes a surprising amount of sense. Of course, Twist has a very bad lisp and Featherweight never talks at all, so I think their child would have major speech problems. Unintelligible to ponies and must use whatever ponies have in place of sign language, but maybe can talk to animals (Fluttershy-level, once mastered.)

Oh, how many points would you want for a scene with Danny, Surprise, and a pair of centaur kids of theirs (older boy, younger girl?) Do you know G1 well?

Anyway… what would you want to do it anyway? I can give you the short version on these two.
Yes, there were humans in G1. For some reason, Hasbro learned they weren't necessary for MLP but never did for Transformers. However, MLP was better at humans than TF was; the trio doesn't get the same kind of hate. Here's a shot of Whizzer, Megan, Danny, and Surprise . (It took some doing to find one of Danny from head to toe.) If you care, which you probably don't: Megan and Danny also had a little sister, Molly (imagine Megan younger, pinker, and in pigtails.)
Pinkie Pie was apparently going to be Surprise if they still had the trademark. You've seen the yellow and white pegasus Pinkie recolors, I'm sure. She was the life of the party, but more of a prankster and not quite as crazy (you can still be pretty crazy and fall short of Pinkie.) Also, by way of animation error, she's actually the first alicorn. In my headcanon, it was a prank and she had everyone bowing to Princess Surprise for some time.
Danny was the bratty-younger-brother type. Which actually made him a bit like Surprise. Quips, pranks, but will get in gear when needed. He and Surprise once had a whole adventure together, that ended with the bad guys who were trying to trade them for the Rainbow of Light saying "Keep your Rainbow, just get them away from us!" (Imagine a pony and a human who are sorta like Pinkie but a bit less crazy and a bit more mischievous, in a mad-science lab. Yes, glorious chaos ensued. Best 80s double trollface! )
So, my idea: if you did it, I'd want the whole family: Danny older, no clothing preference but he should keep the same color scheme. Surprise… if it's an either-or choice, I'd rather see Surprise be the pegasus Pinkie repaint than G1-accurate, actually. People only look at their favorite and miss the fact that outside Rescue at Midnight Castle, everyone in G1 had the same mane and tail. I'd rather Surprise look like Pinkie, who was based on Surprise as much as the previous Pinkie, than get a generic look. But she needn't look exactly like either. If you do CMs, it should have three balloons. (In official materials, things like the number of balloons, apples, etc. in your CM can vary; she usually had four.) Her hair should be the popular bright yellow, even if the actual G1 hair had a green tinge. She's gotta be rockin' the G1 tail bow!
The kids: Centaurs like the Twi/Flash one, both winged, one 10-ish, one 15-ish.
(If you don't know G1 I won't ask for a story for them. But I like to think that Molly thought it was the sweetest thing ever, true love transcending worlds and species. Megan would have taken a bit longer to get used to it but never doubt that following their hearts was the right thing to do and she'd be happy that her brother and her good friend are happy. Their parents took a whole lot longer to get used to it, assuming the kids didn't tell the 'rents about the ponies until it was necessary. "Uh, Danny, does that horse have wings?" "Oh, hi, mom and dad! Uh... you know how sometimes when me and Megan and Molly were kids we'd go, uh, "camping," we called it, but sometimes didn't get back for days and made up these lame excuses about why? Oh, and remember that one time the world almost froze over in the middle of summer? Uh... well, you see... Iwantyoutomeetmywife!" Meanwhile, Surprise laughs her flanks off, and Megan and Molly do a synchronized facepalm.)
