My entry for the contest "Game-Art-HQ Art Contest 2014 " created by in the group www.game-art-hq.com/
For several months I've been thinking about making a new version of the drawing done in 2013 about of CyberDemon on the classic video-game "DOOM".
Taking the opportunity of this contest I've finally decided to do so.
Although this is a 2D drawing the references I did them in 3D applications using 3DsMax 2010 and Sculptris Alpha 6.
The total working time in the 2D format was 26 hours (in this drawing does not include any 3D material).
Part of the delay is due to the many changes of ideas and aggregates was taking the drawing while I did.
This drawing was thought to be viewed at its true resolution of 3200 x 2000 px to appreciate all the details (no low vision)

Desde hace unos meses he estado pensando en hacer una nueva versión del dibujo hecho en el año 2013 sobre el CyberDemon del clásico video-juego "DOOM".
Aprovechando la ocasión de este concurso me he decidido finalmente a hacerlo.
Aunque esto es un dibujo 2D las referencias las hice en formato 3D usando aplicaciones como 3DsMax 2010 y Sculptris 6 Alpha.
El tiempo total de trabajo en el formato 2D ha sido de 26 horas (en este dibujo no se incluye nada del material 3D).
Parte de la demora se debe a los múltiples cambios de ideas y agregados que iba teniendo el dibujo mientras lo hacía.
Este dibujo está pensado para ser visto a su real resolución de 3200 x 2000 px para poder apreciar todos los detalles (no para la vista reducida)

There are only 10 submissions now--a lot than I expected since over 40 were drawn for the contest last year but it would not surprise me to see another 10-20 more getting submitted in the next 2 weeks, anyway your submission has good chances I think
