It's so easy
just you must use
1- tripod
2- and you camera battery has to last through the whole exposure.
3- also, use a remote or set the camera at self timer, so that pushing the button doesnโt shake the camera
and you should be capable of taking beautiful pictures

i tried but all i get at the end is a plain white picture,
do i have to take long exposure pictures at a certain time ? like at noon or something ? because when i tried it before it was morning and there was too much light

I think after sunset is the best time to doing that
* you can use Neutral Density (ND) filters to reduce the light the camera receives
and help you to get correct exposure & keep detail in all parts of your pic.
