This is my new pet albino hedgehog!
She doesn't have a name yet unfortunately. If anyone out there has any ideas for good names, feel free to let me know! I've been told this is an ugly pic of her...maybe it's just me, but I think it's pretty darn cute! She's almost 2 mo. old, so she's still just a baby. Expect more pictures comming soon!

I like Tweak too. She SO resembles Tweak from South Park...she's very tweak-y and their hair is quite similar!

hehe...thanks! Yup, you can pick her up w/o her poking you...too much. She's still not totally used to me, so she still pokes me sometimes, but not as much as when I first got her. She'll huff up and all of her quills will criscross...but if you can sweep her up under her belly before she can curl into a ball then she'll calm down and wont poke. Otherwise, she'll feel where I'm touching and jerk in that direction in an attempt to poke me. If she succeeds in becomming a tiny spiny ball, there's pretty much not anything I can do but pick her up with her bag thingy and just wait for her to calm down. A couple times she's curled up into a ball while my finger was on her tummy, so I had a spiny ball in the end of my finger!!!! hehe. Having a hedgehog is great!

my goodness, that's so adorable. i'd love to have a hedgehog. i see them around in petshops, but the handlers always pick them up with some leather thing and i would think "hey, that's no fun!" but now that i hear it from you....^_^ keep more pics of her up, i'd surely check up on her! and tell me when u name her!

Looks cute and all, but I think that the comments don't nessessarily reflect your hedgehog's look, but that the picture flushes her out.

Thanks for the comment. With flash was too bright...w/o flash was too dark. So I ended up keeping the too bright one and tweaking settings in photoshop to get this.

Bah, not at all...I've been poked plenty of times and even stepped on a quill once and it's never went through my skin. It just pokes and sticks. Read my post below to another person's comment about poking for more info!
