This is the kind've picture I've always seen that have awesome-looking bald eagles or some other bird in the treetop of this wonderfuly dead tree. Thoughts? Comments?Related content

You're absolutely right that there's usually an eagle... But I like this one despite the absence of an eagle! It's just one those pictures that tells so much even if you look at it briefly.
And I'm not bothered by the text.

it would be much better without the "where's the eagle" in the bottom right... other than that it's great...

Thanks for the comment. I'm trying to find a way that I can add titles and copyright notices to all of my pictures. Do you have any ideas how I could modify it and still have that info? Do you like the design set up like my other pic 'Arkansas Waterwheel III' ? Check it out at: [link] .

sorry man i don't have a clue. my medium is music, i look through here for the beauty, not for the fasicination. no offense intended to the depth and beauty and intelligence of art; i just don't appreciate it properly because if i did, my head would blow up.
i haven't seen arkansas waterwheel II, but i like III. i like the intensity of the light and the black border is very... i dunno what the word is... subtle or distinguished or something. the only thing is i don't like the writing; not because of the size, but because it's there. art is an escape from reality for me, as i find reality quite boring and ridiculous. but that's an unreasonable request i know. all in all damn good art.

I can totally understand that. It's great to hear someone's opinion that makes me rethink about the way that I'm doing things. I guess it's a way to show that development is ever-improving and it's what I love about devART.
I'm thinking about redoing my pictures that have the title / info like in this picture and make it look more like my others with the black frame. I know that all future pictures will not have the layout like this one. I've grown to find it too intrusive to the picture. I admit I also would rather not have a border at all, but that's how I'd like them to look when I get my print service ready.
I greatly value your opinion on such matters and I hope if you'll have time you'll check out my other pictures to give your opinion(s).

i play electric guitar and piano, and used to play classical guitar but dropped it in the name of a greater good. i'm hoping to pick up cello over the summer, and eventually, damn near every other instrument under the sun.
