It's a rose, a wild rose maybe. Very pretty. The one on the right looks like it's still a bud.
I say maybe because, someone may have planted it there, but it only has 5 petals-so it's probably wild, unless of course there were other petals ly on the ground. Wow, I'm rambling. Nice photo.

LoL...I really dont get wild roses. Like...I know what a rose looks like, but I've never seen a rose look like this. I'm pretty sure you're right though.
Yeah, it wasnt planted there. It was just beside the road next to the creek. It's def. wild. (note my title)

LOL, I maybe way off base, I dunno. I just remember my grandma in KY had a beautiful one years ago that looked like that. No biggy. Maybe, someone will come along and know conclusively, since I'm iffy at best. lol take care!
