Planet Nirn is located far away from Earth, right?

Did you create that sphere map yourself? Sure looks awesome! You aren't sharing those textures, are you?

With regard the continents themselves, I based my on a map ... plan. After, in Photoshop, and with hight detail texture map of earth, I recreated the Nirn satellite texture map.
I also based with climates in differents regions of Tamriel (deserts, snow / ice etc etc), for Akaviir it's my imagination, with emplacement on Nirn (not ice in the equator ^^') . For the texture ... I will share when I find it on my PC

Alright, thanks!
FYI I'm thinking to recreate the Elder Scrolls system in the space observation software Celestia but knowing I couldn't possibly create a photorealistic surface texture of Nirn itself (I can generate some fractal textures for the other bodies) I ended up looking on the interwebs and found.. only artwork like yours.

I'm sure this will be a most valued and appreciated resource out there for artists and modders alike. As far as I can speak on behalf of either: Thank you so much for your work!

Nice! Is that Yokuda I see near the dark side?

Yes, the small island near the dark side is an island belonging to the group of Yokuda's islands. Akavir is not visible because it's the opposite of Tamriel. It's noon to Pyandonea, and in Atmora too.
