Description
This is a piece that I've been working on for quite a while now, about 2 months. It's a collection of 100 photographs that I took over Spring Break in April, in San Francisco. I took pictures of things and places that locals might know, whereas tourists would not. San Francisco is one of the places that feels most like home for me.

The reason why I chose to present the photographs as such, is because I feel like I am a Balikbayan box; something that's Filipino, but is made in the US (like, I was born there), and is sent back home, meaning here to Manila. It's pretty much become an identity of sorts I guess...

(The actual title is Balikbayan [Box] with the brackets, because the object itself is a balikbayan box, but the main idea that's meant to be conveyed is that of being a balikbayan.)
