Description
I sit here in my mind
as I stare out of this window.
The world around crashes down
as the birds sing their tunes.

The rain falls heavy
while the sun shines bright
and the radiance fades away
as the world is awash in light

A world of pain, cold, sorrow
transposed on a gleeful life
in the midst of dark mist
while the harmonies ring on-high

It all goes hand-in-hand
yet my hand is astray
Alone while I wait for another,
a hand, a hope, or a fate.

A smile, a laugh, a loving eye,
waiting for another to set them alight
and send screaming this demonic silence
to Hell, erasing this blight.

No tears, no laughs, no smiles, no cries,
a bleak little room of strife.
For now, this gloom is home
yet forever in it, I shall be alone.
