It may be different for you since you're using 3ds Max and I'm using blender, but are you having trouble at all with the textures when you first import the model into 3ds max? When I import any of the statues into blender the textures are in the wrong places. For example, everything will look fine but then the textures for the body are where the eyes and cloth textures are supposed to be. So it looks weird and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it yet
