Name: A Dance and a Feast

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-????-1 and SCP-????-2 is to be placed in a large testing room inside high-security storage closet accessible by only class 3+ personnel, due to misuse. Further testing is required.

Description: SCP-????-1 is a dark-spruce wooden violin with strings made of catgut (sheep's intestines) and a bow made out of the same wooden material with horse hair. SCP-????-2 is a simple birch wooden table with its size being in 30x30x30 inches. Both these SCPs have their own distinct properties that are seperate of each other upon testing.

Addendum: Both SCPs were recovered from an abandoned cottage located in [REDACTED] Hungary; local citizens believed the SCPs were part of some old folktale, application of amnestics were not necessary upon retrieval.

When testing SCP-????-1 (the violin) is conducted, a group of no more than 5 class D personnel are allowed to enter at a time. The class D subjects are instructed for one of them to pick up SCP-????-1 and tell the others to dance, then proceed to use SCP-????-1 by playing it. Results after testing and physical/psyhological screening have shown that subjects being told to dance began to dance against their own volition while listening too the music played by the subject with SCP-????-1; the subject with SCP-????-1 however was only one not dancing when playing music.

SCP-????-1 Addendum 1: Results in further testing has shown that the subject with SCP-????-1 seemed to have naturally played a song of hungarian origin despite not knowning how to play violin.

When testing SCP-????-2 (the table) is conducted, a minimum of 1-4 class D personnel are allowed to enter the room at a time, subjects are instructed to interact with SCP-????-2 by touching it with their hand. Results have yielded a bowl containing porridge and another containing beans; subjects were then provided with basic dinnerware for later testing.

SCP-????-2 Addendum 1: Further testing on SCP-????-2 showed that the subjects instructed to consume as much of the porridge and beans until they were full and couldn't eat any more, visual surveillance shows that the SCP seems to refill the bowls of food after each bite; after all subject's stomachs were full, the food would have seem to disappear.

SCP-????-2 Addendum 2: another test was conducted with only one class D personnel; subject was instructed to touch the table with his hand say what food he wanted. Subject then proceeded to do the following and wanted a hotdog, the SCP only yielded a couple bowls porridge and beans. After further testing, results in wanting food of hungarian cuisine have been the only success while wanting other food have showed the same former results that of porridge and beans.
