I'm seriously that excited about this round and so nervous about how people will react of the crap I produce that I've been like paralyzed. I didn't even check my strips for mistakes because I'm too afraid of looking at them again and feeling stupid... This one actually should have been up for days now. ; ;
...And no, I haven't finished my entry yet... because of real life issues... like work and stuff, lol.
So yeah, I didn't want to start my entry with the first match. Instead, Rhea wanders around on this freaking ship and gets seasick... again. She already had felt like crap when she took her trip to Sunyshore. She's probably the only one who gets seasick on SUCH A FRIGGIN HUGE SHIP BUT WHO CARES! She's an alien! She's allowed to be weird! 8DD
I hope she won't throw up, though. :/
I featured the conversation with Tururu because it somehwat felt important to show the way Kuro's Pokemon think about her. Tururu is a bit like "WTF" at first. xD
It also gave me an occasion to show Rhea's nice side. Usually, she has this "Get lost"-attitude towards everyone but with Pokemon, it's different.
Oh, and sorry for messing up Ota this much! He'll look different on the next pages, I promise. Not that that would be an improvement... orz
I'm also going to feature a little "list" of references and weird stuff I'm going to include. Since Ota is included, there had to be a few. There's not that much in this entry but...
Anime references included:
1) In the first panel, the red bar naming the setting looks oddly similar to the one in "Angel Beats!"
2) The floating belt says "M.S. Nice Boat"
3) Tururu: (as far as a Torterra can look this way)
4) Ota... well... he just want to look cool. No certain reference, just pick one you saw looking similar. I'm sure there has to be one somewhere! *shot*

Keep trying, That is all I can tell you. I am still feeling like a beginner when I see other people's artworks, but I also noticed improvement in my work time after time. It's a long way to the top.

Don't worry, that's how everyone starts. It even actually is a good way to get a first feeling for proportions, posing and everything related to sketching. However, you should look for some tutorials to get started, too. There's a lot of drawing tutorials here in deviantArt, so it shouldn't be a big problem to find some suitable for beginner that will help you. ovo

Thank you! Aww, it's good to know the comic is fluent so far. I've partly had a few problems with this because of this stupid time limitation (means that I had to cut a few things here and there so I wouldn't kill myself in attempt to draw everything) but you will see when the next parts come up. Sometimes I had to skip parts or I've been just... random. lol. |3

Yeah, with those clothes, he somewhat looks like red. Ota's clothes from his application sheet are a lot more difficult to draw so I just used the current ones. I hope the difference gets more obvious in the next part...
