I know this is classified as Legends rather than Canon, but I still haven't been able to find anything on the star. Can you tell me where you found that it's spectral class is B? I plan on extrapolating a lot of other data from what little there is and putting some numbers to the planets, like hillspheres and insolation, even if they are just estimates. I already know for example that from the 41.5° axial tilt that the area of the polar circle would the same as Earth's despite it only having 31% of the surface area of the Earth.

I always thought that Bespin was in the same system as Hoth, since the Falcon had no light speed when it fled Hoth...

The Falcon had its backup hyperdrive, but it was considerably slower than the main unit. It still took them several days to a few weeks to make Bespin.

They never mentioned that in the movie... it seems like a plot hole to me.

I believe it was said somewhere in one of the various sourcebooks out there what happened. I guess when they showed up in Cloud City, they were pretty rank. Unfortunately, Star Wars has always been bad about the passing of time during the various movies.
