It is so pretty it almost looks like a painting to me. Great job. Do you wear a hard Β hat to explore?

I wish there were places like this in the US. Unfortunately theyre all torn down before they get to this point, haha.

We have caved-in barns tho...

There are places like that in the US. My husband and I visited an abandoned school yesterday and are planning a trip to an abandoned hospital in Boone, NC. Β Google your state name and the word abandoned buildings and you will find some places.

When I think of a mine,I don't think of it as having doors. Just crumbling passageways...

I also thought a mine was supposed to be something dark, with passageways etc...

but in fact a very large part of the constructions are actually above the ground. Like the place to clean the coal, the transportation belts, the warehouses to stock everything, the living quarters etc...

There is an abandoned iron mine south of my city. The pumps were taken out 80 years ago and the mine is all flooded and full of bats. Iron cages were placed at all the entrances to keep people out. Yet to also let the bats fly in and out.

yes, it was...

the mine complex was quite big and there were lots of towers that contained the chains to pull the carbon (coal) from the depths of the mountain.
