Description
Midnight once again. A silvercloud hides the darkened
moon - Stars are falling,
Covering the shell-torn
shore. Silent, black ripples
kiss the ground, tender.
Moon-lit angels weep blindly,
mourning the loss of youthful
effervescence. Fading while
watching, bloodlessly
murdered - the innocent
glorified in their guilt.
Ancient rites of passage lay
forgotten by the sea -
their guardian is dead. Alone,
a man smiles at the beauty
formed for him. Guileless
devils inherit his world.

Some cliche words, but altogether it actually brings up an image in my mind. Not sure how to explain what that image is...
But if you've ever read any of the "Anita Blake" vampire books by Laurell K Hamillton, it's kind of like that. Nice.

well, the image in my mind - just the image, mind you - was snow angels on the beach being washed away.
