Description
“I wrote it for Coco…”- This was a drawing that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now based on the disney pixar movie “Coco”. And I’m just gonna say this, This movie is SO GOOD!! And Oh man, this movie made me cry like a baby towards the end and it takes a lot out of me to cry it’s just that good! It kicks me in the butt I didn’t go see this in theaters cause of those rumors of how coco was like the book of life. Well…That’s the last time I listen to the internet XP they really don’t know what they’re talking about!
Spoilers for those who haven’t seen the movie.
My inspiration for this picture was drawing something similar towards the scene where Hector tells our main character Miguel that he only wanted to see his daughter before being forgotten since no one put his photo up for the day of the dead to allow him to cross into the living world. And how Hector was the one that wrote all the song that Ernesto de la Cruz stole from Hector when La Cruz murdered him when Hector only just wanted to go home to his wife and child. So I figured I would do something to when Hector is playing the guitar and remembering the fond memories he had with his daughter Coco. Not Much to say except hope you lovelies like it

I tear up too thinking about it too. I'm so angry about what Ernesto did to Hector! He made his wife and daughter think that he was a good for nothing deadbeat that walked out on them!

For almost a century, Hector had to "live" abandoned and banished from his fellow deceased family members while Ernesto made a name for himself using Hector's hard work and soul (LITERALLY!). And he couldn't see his daughter, because his living members were all convinced he was the one who ditched them when it really wasn't like that, so they refused to put up his picture...
Thankfully everything turned out all right in the end. And I'm personally glad to see that Ernesto's scam was revealed and both the living and deceased public turn their back on him.
The rant aside, very sad but heartwarming piece. He really did wrote that song only for his beloved daughter.

I saw Coco the day it premiered in theaters and when I compare it to the book of life, Coco is nothing like TBOT, its much better.
I know the plot and Hector's story is so sad, thank goodness Miguel was able to reveal the truth and Hector's legacy was restored.
The ending was extraordinary: Hector and Coco hugging, the song at the end, I laughed and cried, it moved me.

Well if Hector became fameuse instead of his Rival Coco would’t Have the movie plot that we have and their might be no story.

or would there be Migiel could have look up to Hector and when he goes to the land of the dead buy mistake he goes to meet him instead. because lets face it Hector would have been a better role model for kids like Miguel.

Not to mention it would defeat the purpose of the movie and its moral about being apart of what day of the dead stands for, family and loved ones that past on.
