Cause I was thinking, original Mangle was a mash up of parts everywhere on her and I didn't like that! Like I drew her like that a couple of times, and I all in all stopped when I drew her like she is now!! No mangled mess!! So I was thinking like, she can't be called "Mangle" if she isn't mangled!! I came up with a story then!! She was previously that mangled mess in the past (which traumatizes her till this very day), and then was repaired, but it was mostly her that out herself back together!! Which tends to not work out a lot cause she doesn't really know how to repair!! So she isn't really sturdy herself and tends to fall apart under certain conditions, or at random!! Clyde started to take notice after a while, and started to help her out!! She wouldn't ask him, but he was always there!! And that's how they started seeing each other!! And now, since he started learning a lot more on the repairs, and he had does most of it, she doesn't fall apart as often as before!!
To be honest, I only had up to her fixing herself badly planned, the rest magically came out as I was typing!! XD

She breaks down a lot actually!! She can't seem to stay together! Some days she's fine, other days it's one limb, and then there are the days where she gets broken!! But Clyde puts her back together again!!

Well, telling by that comic where he was being accused of......that, while Clyde was completely confused trying to ask where the tools were so he could fix her, he must care a lot. By the way, the ending to that comic was cute!!
